Andrew Wyeth: Home Places at the Brandywine Museum of Art
Spend a day on a 15-acre campus in Chadds Ford, Pa. (near Wilmington, Delaware) featuring a museum housed in a historic 19th-century gristmill with contemporary glass walls overlooking the Brandywine Creek. Stroll through outdoor sculptures and native plant gardens. Visit six galleries on three floors. Two special exhibits: 50 of Andrew Wyeth’s paintings and drawings, many not seen in public before; 80 of Joseph Stella’s works focusing on nature and flora.
If your plans have changed, please make corrections on the sign-up sheet in the Resident Business Center. So far, we have limited room for those on the waitlist. The non-refundable $100 trip cost will be charged to your personal account on Monday, July 10. After that date, if you cannot make the trip, you can give your seat to another resident, and you will need to let us know about this change. The motor coach departs at 9:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 26. If you need an extra copy of the trip details that was in the Resident Business Center, please let Chris White know at ext. 7587. She will email it to you.
