Join the Fine Arts Committee for a talk on “Framing your Treasures.” On Friday, October 18, at 1PM in the Art Center, Bev Rocco of Art and Frame of Falls Church, will conduct a lecture on the art of framing your pictures, paintings or other works that you wish to display in your GHBC home. Ms. Rocco will discuss various materials available, the pros and cons and suitability of each, including matting, metal and wood framing and overlays of plexi-glass and glass. All are welcome, and you may even bring your work of art to help you determine the perfect combination of matt, frame and glass to preserve and present your art work.
