Remember how hot and humid the weather has been? Remember how we prayed for cooler weather? In just a few months, winter will be with us. Then we’ll pray for sunshine and warmth! What a quandary! On Friday, January 31, take an eight-night cruise with Royal Caribbean sailing out of Baltimore. Visit Charleston, SC; Port Canaveral, FL; and two stops in the Bahamas – CocoCay and Nassau. Of course, enjoy the cruise ship itself. This is a Family trip – residents of GHA and GHBC, members of GHAH and the Priority Club are all invited. If you don’t have a travel buddy but have a relative or friend who will travel with you, invite them, too. Last January, 15 people from GHA, GHBC, and GHAH took a very similar cruise and enjoyed it greatly. Ocean-view cabins cost about $853 per person (double occupancy). Cabins with a balcony run about $1,314 per person (double occupancy). In both instances, port fees and taxes are included. Also, figure on $15.00 per day for gratuities. You can travel independently, of course, but I strongly suggest you arrange your travel with Shillelagh Travel (703-242-2204). Everyone seems to have more fun when traveling with a group. Don’t delay. All cruises fill quickly. For more information, call Carolyn Buttolph at 703-842-3177 (email her at ckbuttolph@aol.com). She can also arrange bus transportation to and from the cruise terminal for about $40.00-$50.00 round trip. GH Family
